This page is about an active politician who is running for office, is in office and campaigning for re-election, or is involved in some current political conflict or controversy. Because of this, this article is at increased risk of biased editing, talk-page trolling, and simple vandalism. |
This template has been mostly deprecated in favour of {{WPBiography}}. Since active politicians are by definition living, please use {{WPBiography|activepol=yes|living=yes}} on the article's talk page.
If the {{WPBiography}} is nested with the |nested=yes paramenter, this template is used in place of the normal tag so that it remains outside of the banner shell.
In extremely rare cases, {{WPBiography}} might not be relevant, in which case this template may be used instead.
This template adds this page into Category:Active politicians.
