Dodge Viper E85
On July 18, 2007 Ron Misjak Jr, Ron Misjak Sr and Johnnie set the record for world's fastest gasoline-powered street car with their modified E85 (Ethanol 85) powered Dodge Viper in standing mile run, reaching 220.7 mph in 27.41 seconds. They shattered the previous record of 217.85 mph. The run was on the Oscoda-Wurtsmith Airport runway, Oscoda, Michigan. This is a very crucial achievement for the green car revolution, given that E85-based modified Engine has been able to achieve outstanding performance, breaking the conventional myth about green car's poor performance.
